# Delete a draft

> Delete a team draft using its current version. Ask the user before deleting their draft.

Write access: a member/administrator with a write-enabled credential, or an authorized signed-in user.

Delete a team draft using its current version. Ask the user before deleting their draft.

Deletion removes the draft for the team. A stale version returns a conflict; read again before asking the user to confirm a new deletion.

MCP clients can use [`delete_draft`](/mcp-reference/delete_draft) for this operation.
