# Receive a Threads data deletion request

> Meta sends a form-encoded signed_request verified with the configured Threads app secret. Removes the matching Threads connection, credentials, profile and delivery records in one transaction. Team-authored master copy, uploaded originals, human users and other providers remain. Returns a private confirmation link; repeated events return the same receipt. This does not delete posts on Threads or recall an in-flight publish.

No signed-in session is required. Endpoint-specific tokens, setup secrets or challenges may still be required.
