You need an [installed instance](/installation) and a provider enabled by the installation operator. An administrator connects social accounts; members can write and schedule posts; viewers can inspect them.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Set up the installation">
    Open the UI, enter the installation setup secret from the API startup log
    and create the team and first administrator. The first administrator is
    already email-verified.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect an account">
    Open **Connections**, choose **Add connection**, select a provider and
    complete its sign-in and consent. The account belongs to your team.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write a draft">
    Start on Home, enter your thought and open the editor. Use **Choose
    Accounts** to select the accounts. Click an avatar to review its text and
    live preview.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose when to publish">
    Use **Save as draft** to keep the idea, **Post now** to confirm immediate
    delivery, or **Schedule** in the publishing menu to choose a future time.
    The schedule uses your account's time zone.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the result">
    After Post now, the delivery details page reports each account's progress.
    Scheduled requests stay in **Scheduled Posts** until delivery begins and
    results appear in **Post History**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Before posting to a real account, confirm the content, selected accounts and timing. Each selected account receives its own delivery. Read [delivery states](/deliveries) before retrying a failed or uncertain request.
